Booking Information: 1.) Hire rates quoted include:
*Insurance loading . In some cases, R&S Motorhomes will incur additional charges if the driver to be insured has a traffic conviction, is using a non-EU driving license or is an occupation of high risk. These charges will be passed onto the customers.
2.) Insurance: Standard excess. The quoted rate includes a standard excess of €1000. In the event of damage to vehicle or third party property, the hirer will be liable for the first €1000. The hirer will be fullyl iable for replacement or repair of windscreen or tyre damage. 3.) Security deposit: The is a refundable €700.00 Security Deposit payable 0n collection of the vehicle. Security deposit should be paid by credit card, the amount will be debited from your account and is fully refundable on return of the vehicle to the agreed location, on the agreed date and time in the condition as it was let out to you, with the toilet empty, the interior clean including all cooking appliances and the tank full of fuel. NOTE: the €700 security deposit will be used to fund any loss or damage what so ever to equipment, fixtures and fittings or negligent damage to the vehicle. 4.) European Travel: There is an additional charge of €160.00 per week for European travel. 5.) There is an additional charge of €80 per week for travel to the Bedding: €15 per person Additional driver ( Additional driver ( Points on licence: (€5 - €15) per day. Depending on number & type of points. Airport to depot transfer: (for up to 4 people) – Price on Request.
7.) Minimum Hire:
Minimum Hire is 3 Days. 8.) Drivers: Age limits: 25 to 70 years. Driver must have held a valid licence for more than 2 years. Details of additional drivers required.
Production of valid standard driver’s licence required from all drivers at start of hire.
Drivers are personally liable for all legal penalties (eg: parking tickets) which are incurred during period of hire.
Maximum of 2 drivers per rental.
Drivers must provide 2 separate forms of identification. i.e. credit card, passport and/or recent utility bill. 9.) One ways:
Generally not permitted. We deliver motorhomes to the main airports in the country.
There is a service charge for this facility. 10.) Payment:
Availability is on a request and confirm basis at the time of reservation.A reservation is only binding after it has been confirmed by R&S Motorhomes and a down payment of €250 has been received. When reservation is confirmed, an invoice will be issued by post for the remaining balance. Settlement of remaining balance will be due six weeks prior to departure.
Payment is by credit card (Visa or MasterCard), debit cards or cheque in Euro. For late bookings (less than six weeks before departure) the full rental price is payable. Vehicle will not be released without full payment being completed. Cheques will not be accepted (less than 2 weeks prior to departure).
11.) Credit Cards:
Most major credit cards accepted – 2 % additional charge.
12.) Cancellation charges:
More than 6 weeks before: €250 (Booking Deposit). 6 weeks – 2 weeks – No Show: 100 % of total hire change.
13.) Collection & Return: Please allow 1 hour for the hand-over at the depot – to complete the documentation and issue of vehicle to you. Please allow similar on your return. Return: The vehicle must be returned on the date, and before the time stated, on the rental agreement. Vehicles must be returned clean and in the same condition as they leave the depot; otherwise, a charge will be made (includes a separate toilet cleaning fee, if the toilet waste tank is not empty and clean - €50). Late return: If you are late returning, the rental company must be advised immediately. If not it may result in prosecution for driving whilst uninsured. An additional charge of €50 per hour for all late returns. |
